Over 150 children, ranging in age from 7 to 18, attend Glenwood Academy. 70% of our students are African American, and 100% qualify for free or reduced lunch programs. Nearly all students live at or below the poverty line.
Glenwood’s robust programming includes a rigorous curriculum; on-campus clinical services including health and counseling; military leadership program; and unique summer enrichment program. 100% of our 8th grade students successfully graduate and are well prepared for high school; and 100% of students who take part in Glenwood’s high school option go on to college or join the military.
